Podcast Recording
Create audio content that captures your audience's attention with crystal-clear precision. Our Yokohama studio combines a silent acoustic environment with professional broadcast engineering to give your voice the authority it deserves.
Book a Session
In the modern digital landscape, audio quality is a direct reflection of your brand's professionalism. Home recordings often suffer from uncontrolled room reflections, background noise, and inconsistent levels, which can lead to listener fatigue and higher drop-off rates. At Maravediflow, we provide a dedicated, acoustically treated environment specifically designed to eliminate these distractions, ensuring a dense, warm, and clear vocal capture.
Beyond providing a silent space, our service includes the expertise of a dedicated recording engineer. We handle the technical complexities—gain staging, phase alignment, and noise management—in real-time. This allows hosts and guests to focus entirely on the conversation and the chemistry of the interview, rather than worrying about whether the microphone is clipping or if a siren outside ruined a perfect take.
Our 4-Step Recording Process
Pre-Session Briefing
We discuss your episode structure, the number of participants, and the desired tone to prepare the ideal microphone layout and signal chain.
Sound Calibration
Our engineer adjusts gain levels for each voice profile, ensuring a stable recording level that prevents peaking while maintaining a healthy signal-to-noise ratio.
Live Capture
While you record, our engineer monitors the feed from the control room to catch unexpected noises or volume shifts immediately.
Data Export
Once the session concludes, we export your files in your preferred format and provide a secure digital delivery with a local backup.
Who is this service for?
This service is designed for content creators who refuse to compromise on audio fidelity. We primarily work with corporate entities launching business podcasts for brand authority, educational hosts delivering complex knowledge, and independent journalists who require a neutral, professional environment for high-stakes interviews.
The studio is particularly beneficial for those hosting guest-based shows. While home setups often struggle with more than two microphones, our facility can accommodate up to 6 musicians or speakers simultaneously. We ensure that each voice is isolated on its own track, allowing for natural conversation flow without the "bleed" typically found in amateur setups.
Studio Workflow and Engineering
Upon arrival, our engineer performs a final check of the signal path. In podcasting, managing "plosives" (popping sounds from 'p' and 'b' sounds) and lip noise is critical. We utilize high-quality pop filters and adjust the microphone angle specifically to the speaker's anatomy and speaking style to minimize these artifacts at the source.
During the session, the engineer remains in the control room, acting as a second set of ears. This prevents the common issue of "clipping" when a guest laughs loudly or speaks with sudden intensity. After the recording, we perform a basic level normalization, ensuring the files are ready for the editing phase without requiring extensive gain correction.
Client Preparation Checklist
To maximize your studio time and ensure a seamless experience, we ask clients to prepare the following. First, a detailed "episode outline" or "script." Having a clear structure helps us estimate the required session time accurately and allows the engineer to anticipate transitions.
If you intend to play BGM, intro jingles, or reference audio during the recording, please provide these files in advance. Regarding attire, we recommend avoiding fabrics that create "clothing noise" (such as stiff nylon or heavy jewelry) as these sounds are easily captured by high-sensitivity broadcast microphones.
Deliverables and Results
Following the session, you will receive your audio assets in the following formats:
- Individual voice files for each participant (Multi-track WAV format)
- A mixed master file of the full session (WAV/MP3 format)
- Exports tailored to your specific sampling rate and bit depth requirements
Providing multi-track files is essential for professional post-production; it allows your editor to adjust the volume of a single speaker or remove "ums" and "ahs" from one person without affecting the other. In accordance with our business rules, all session archives are stored securely for up to 12 months.
Timelines and Scheduling
Standard data exports are typically completed immediately after the session or within the same business day. If you require advanced post-production, such as surgical noise removal or complex narrative editing, we provide separate quotes with a typical delivery window of 3 to 7 business days.
To secure your time slot, a 30% deposit is required upon booking. We understand that schedules change; therefore, we offer free cancellation for any session provided the notification is received at least 3 days prior to the scheduled date.
What is NOT included
Our Podcast Recording plan is focused specifically on the "capture" phase of production. To maintain transparency, the following services are not included in the standard recording hourly rate:
- Detailed narrative editing (cutting dead air, rearranging segments)
- Sourcing and integrating background music or sound effects
- Uploading and distributing content to podcasting platforms
- Scriptwriting, copywriting, or content consulting
If your project requires these elements, we recommend our Mixing & Mastering services or requesting a custom production quote.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the price change if I record alone versus with a group?
No, our basic rate is based on studio time regardless of the number of speakers. However, if a larger group requires significantly more setup time or specialized equipment configurations, we will discuss any necessary adjustments during the booking process.
Who owns the rights to the recorded audio?
The rights to the recorded content belong entirely to the client upon full payment of the session fees. Maravediflow does not claim any ownership or royalties over your intellectual property.
Can I request editing after the recording is finished?
Yes. Our Mixing & Mastering engineers can handle post-production, including noise reduction, cutting, and BGM integration. Since editing requirements vary, we provide a separate quote based on the complexity of the work.
